Founder & Principal Consultant

I started my career in cloud and backend development, right up until a consulting assignment put me on an e-commerce site and pulled me over to the frontend. Turns out I liked it enough to switch for good.

Since then, I've built frontends for popular brands and startups, branched naturally into design, wireframing and UX, and shipped dozens of websites and apps along the way (including this one!).

What you get: a true frontend specialist who also understands the full stack, and knows what it really takes to build a good product and ship it fast. Don't just take my word for it; see my testimonials.

When I'm not working, I'm traveling with my wife or rotting at home with my two rescue cats.

AI-Free to Fully Agentic

I'm happiest with agentic tools, but I'm just as comfortable going completely AI-free when a project calls for it. Most teams land somewhere in between, and that works too.

  • Fully Agentic Recommended

My favorite. Claude Code with custom commands, agentic automation and workflows that take repeatable work off the table.

  • Somewhere in Between

AI as a sidekick for drafts, tests and second opinions, while the decisions and the craft stay human.

  • AI-Free

Hand-written code and hand-made design, start to finish. For when there's a specific need: a policy, a client requirement, or a firm preference for keeping the robots out of it.

About the Brand

The Ben Ventures logo is the HTML bold tag, <b>. The closing bracket doubles as a v, so the mark also reads BV.

The colors come from print: magenta, black and cyan are three of the four CMYK process inks, a nod to work that's half code and half design. The fourth, yellow, is saved for emphasis, like the call to action at the bottom of this page.
